The pressure we experience from within ourselves, and the pressure from the world around us (think: perfect Instagram feeds) can often leave us feeling not good enough. Whether learned from childhood, or internalized from outside pressure, this mindset affects nearly all of us to varying degrees throughout our lives. When falling short of our personal standards, we become harder on ourselves and are often our worst critic. This serves only to bring us to a darker place, until we're caught in a pretty miserable cycle of self disparaging thoughts and actions. 

Ever think: "Would I treat my loved ones the way I treat myself?... "Would I hold them up to (insert impossibly high standard), and be so critical if they fall short?"... "Am I truly nourishing myself?"

It's time to tap into that kindness and compassion we so readily give to others and practice also channeling it inward. Through this Compassion Meditation we'll reconnect with our selves, practice non-judgmental awareness of all that we are, and experience what it's like to honor our inner goddess.

Throughout this class, we'll connect and talk about this topic via practitioner-led group discussion, then experience a full guided Compassion Meditation, followed by Q&A. As always, we invite you to stay the last 10 minutes for tea, chocolates, and connecting with our community of women in a relaxed and easy setting.

What to expect:

All of Enodia Center’s sessions, Studio Series, and community events are designed to be realistic for every woman. You don’t have to alter your beliefs, lifestyle, or wardrobe to experience all the benefits of our Studio Series. Therefore, each class in the series is completely "come as you are". The only request we have is that you remove your shoes, so comfy socks are always a plus! As always, don't hesitate to contact us with any questions.
